Nominations are now open for the ninth annual MDEA Academy Awards! Anyone may submit a nomination to recognize, promote, and celebrate the excellence of MDUSD employees and community members. Individuals may be nominated for the below awards.

Outstanding Achievement in Teaching:

• Leadership & Courage

• Creative Curriculum

• Most Inspirational

• Community Involvement

• Lifetime Achievement

Awards for Non-Teachers:

• Outstanding Classified Employee

• Outstanding Administrator, Principal, or Vice Principal

• Outstanding Parent Volunteer (serving our MDUSD schools)

• Outstanding Volunteer Organization (serving our MDUSD schools)

Awards for Groups:

• Outstanding Collaborating team - (small group of individuals collaborating to improve student learning)

• Social Justice - (individual or small group of individuals acting improve Equity, Racial Justice, Diversity and Inclusion in our MDUSD schools)
