High School Enrollment

MDUSD assigns neighborhood elementary, middle, and high schools based on street address. School Finder is intended to be used as a general guide to school assignments based upon address. The information provided by this tool is a guideline only and is not a binding determination of school assignments. Please contact the school directly for a final determination of your school assignment. Please use our SchoolFinder application, enter in your address, view the map, and note the exceptions below: 

Choice (Unassigned High School): When the high school is listed as "Choice (High School)", the student living on this street may attend a Mt. Diablo Unified high school of their choice. For the 22-23 school year complete the online form here. A letter was sent home to all unassigned families about this process.

On November 14, 2016 the Board of Education approved the following feeder patterns for students who live in the Diablo View and Pine Hollow attendance areas. Students that live in the Diablo View and Pine Hollow Middle School attendance areas will be granted resident status instead of unassigned status by selecting one of the following high schools as their home high school:

  • College Park High School
  • Concord High School
  • Mt. Diablo High School
  • Northgate High School
  • Ygnacio Valley High School

Intradistrict Transfer Requests

Intradistrict transfers are for students who reside inside the MDUSD boundaries requesting to transfer to another MDUSD school. The online application request period is October 15 - November 15. Please click here to begin the process. 

NOTE: Pine Hollow students wishing to attend Clayton Valley Charter High School should contact the CVCHS office directly, and visit their website for more information about their application process.
