2018-2019 OFFICERS

2018-2019 ELECTIONS

Election Day:

  • Student Council Elections for the 2018-2019 school year will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018. 

Office Positions Include:

  • President (8th Grade)
  • Vice President (7th Grade)
  • Secretary (7th or 8th Grade)
  • Treasurer (7th or 8th Grade)
  • Class Representatives (Each Grade)

Requirements:

  • Follow and model all Pine Hollow rules.
  • Maintain a 3.0 or better GPA.
  • Have no suspensions or support calls.

2018-2019 Dates to Remember:

  • Wednesday, September 11: Packet available in the office to run for office.
  • Tuesday, September 18: Meeting in A-10 at lunch for 6th grade. Application due.
  • Tuesday, September 18: Meeting outside of A-10 during lunch for 7th grade and 8th grade. Application due.
  • Wednesday, September 19: Applications will be approved.
  • Friday, September 21: Get posters (five or fewer) and speeches approved by Mrs. Roberts Farley before this date.
  • Monday, September 24: Candidate speeches at lunch for President, VP, Secretary and Treasurer.
  • Tuesday, September 25: Election Day! Voting occurs during 2nd Period!

Reminders:

  • Posters and fliers may be displayed in halls only after approval has been given. The posters and fliers will be used to promote your candidacy. No T-shirts, food, toys, etc. It is also your responsibility to remove all your posters after the elections. Thank you for our cooperation.
  • An applicant must have two teacher and ten student recommendations to show support for their candidacy.
